AI ORGANIC OUTREACH
THE BRIEF.

SAMPLE EDITION / 8 SEPTEMBER 2026

Start with a better question.
Then look for the signal.

If your team is asking how to become more visible in AI search, the first useful move is to define what you want to observe. This sample connects the source guidance to a manageable first working session.

01 / THE SIGNAL

New search experiences. A familiar SEO foundation.

Google’s guidance keeps established SEO practices relevant to AI features in Search. That gives marketing teams a better starting point than an unverified promise of guaranteed citations.

Our interpretation: begin with a page that helps a buyer make a real decision. Examine its accessibility, clarity and supporting evidence before buying a tactic described only by a new acronym.

02 / THE WORKING IDEA

A useful baseline is a record you can repeat.

An answer screenshot captures one observation. A consistent log gives you something you can compare. Keep the questions, settings and recording method stable enough to make differences worth investigating.

  • Choose five questions from actual buyer conversations.
  • Record the engine, date, locale, answer and source URLs.
  • Separate a mention of your brand from a citation to your page.
  • Repeat and retain the variation, including unflattering results.

This is a proposed research framework. It does not establish a cause of citations or represent every buyer’s experience.

03 / YOUR NEXT MOVE

Ask the people who hear the questions.

Bring someone from SEO, content and sales into one short working session. Agree on the five questions and the relevant page for each. Choose one useful page improvement and write down why you selected it.

Keep the observation log separate from your traffic and conversion reporting. The next question is whether the content is helping the right visitors take a useful action, not simply whether a brand name appeared somewhere.

THE EDITORIAL NOTE

This is an unsent sample, not an archived campaign. It contains no paid placements or affiliate links. Future editions will label those relationships clearly. Our editorial standards explain the distinction.
